DAY 3: *FAVORITE SUPPORTING CHARACTERS*

My favorite supporting characters are:
  • Tiny Cooper from Will Grayson, Will Grayson (by Joghn Green and David Levithan)
  • Hana Tate from the Delirium series (by Lauren Oliver)
  • Christina from the Divergent series by (Veronica Roth)

I absolutely LOVE Tiny Cooper!  Even though Tiny's a bit of a jerk to his best friend, is a selfish as can be and is totally caught up in his own little world, Tiny is the funniest, gayest and most outrageous character I've ever read about.  I also liked how even though he didn't always show it, he really did care for Will Grayson, and actually was a really good best friend when it counted.

Delirium is one of my favorite books; I loved the whole idea of a society that banned the idea of love and I loved the relationship between Lena, Alex and Hana (in the first book that is).  Hana is the too cool for school, pretty best friend that has a wild, rebellious side.  She is totally supportive of Lena and Alex's relationship, and is constantly risking her own safety for the sake of them two.  Even after Hana and Lena drift apart, Hana still proves her loyalty and love to Lena in the end.

Christina is the smart-mouth, loud, blunt best friend of Tris.  What really stood out to me was Christina and Tris' relationship, and how much Christina still cared and loved her friend, even after everything they go through.  Christina is a true best friend, and I liked how Roth portrayed her as a strong, tall, tomboyish character who was capable of doing things for herself.
